With more and more people gaining easier access to the internet and with the easier availability of smartphones, the rural population is rapidly becoming an important part of the digital culture.According to the report in rural India, 78 million users or around 48% use the internet daily, while 140 million, or around 83%use the internet at least once a month.
Thanks to several government initiatives and some of India’s biggest internet companies offering internet access at affordable prices, businesses in small cities now have a larger playground. They can reach a global audience just as easily as a local audience.
